RadiantShield Plus
RadiantShield Plus and RadiantShield Classic are two different products. The former uses an EPE foam core, while the latter uses a PE bubble core. Although the foam core has only slightly better thermal properties, its main advantage is that it provides a consistent thickness across all surfaces. This uniformity ensures that RadiantShield Plus performs more reliably than RadiantShield Classic on various surfaces. However, both products share high-purity polished aluminium reflective surfaces.

RadiantShield Plus is an ideal insulation solution for residential ceiling, roof, wall, and underfloor applications. This innovative insulation comprises a layer of fire-retardant polythene air bubbles, which are sandwiched between two layers of 99+% pure aluminium foil. RadiantShield Plus is highly effective in reflecting up to 96% of the radiant heat, ensuring consistent thermal comfort inside your home throughout the year.
Solavis RadiantShield Plus is a safe, clean and fibre-free insulation designed to replace conventional bulk insulation. It is fully compliant with ASNZS 4859.1 and achieves over R3.0 for summer in residential ceiling applications.
Our reflective insulation has foil facing on both sides, providing heat reflection in both summer and winter (unlike single-sided foils that only reflect heat in one direction).
